DFW World Series Individual Skills CompetitionsImportant Information Below
Skill Competitions will begin this afternoon at 3:00PM and will conclude at 6:00PM. We suggest arriving to the park to compete in the competitions as close to the start time as possible so that no one misses out on the chance to compete. All athletes competing today will need to be at their assigned facility by 4:30PM.
If a player pre-registered online then they will report straight to the assigned field to compete in the skill competition. They do not have to check in with anyone other than the official who is running the competition on the assigned field. Any walk up registrations will need to visit the registration tent at the facility to process their entry fee and receive proof of registration.

During the Easton DFW World Series the ONLY form of communication will be through the USSSA Mobile App via push notifications and email. Leading up to the event emails using the current USSSA system will be used but once the event begins ALL event communication will be sent using the app!Please be sure that you have downloaded the app and you are following your team. June 26th Email:
USSSA MLK Concession Stand - Arlington
The Park has informed us that only one Kona Sno Cone truck will be at the park. The concession will not be open this week according to the facility. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please feel free to bring any food and drinks that you would like to into MLK this week.
June 25th Email #2:
1. Please have one person be the point of contact for all questions from your team. It helps us be more efficient when communicating with teams.
2. During team manager check in, there will be vendors at the DoubleTree. Teams are welcome to stop by and pick up a tournament shirt, Glove or anything else that the vendors have set up. Tournament shirts will be sold at the team manager check in. Location Doubletree by Hilton Arlington DFW South (1507 N Watson Rd, Arlington TX 76006).
3. Please note that under our venue tab you can find all concession and park policies. MLK and Cravens parks will not have concessions. There should be food trucks throughout the day but we were notified today that concessions will likely not be open at these two facilities. Please plan accordingly. All other locations will have concessions open all week.
4. All teams wanting to participate in the Rangers Game on Sunday must have tickets purchased through the event. If you have not purchased tickets through the event, please contact us immediately if you want to participate in the Rangers Game. Armbands to participate in the Parade of Teams will be picked up at Team Manager check in. They will be picked up from the preorder merchandise table. 2 coaches and rostered players are the only people allowed in the parade of teams.
5. We have received lots of questions about birth certificates. Birth certificates will not be checked at check in. If you have a question about one, we will review it for you then. If there is a protest during the event, you must have the birth certificate immediately available. Digital copies are accepted. Passports and other government issued ID's are accepted also.
6. Coaches will receive 5 game MVP coins at team check in. Instructions on how to redeem those will be sent out tomorrow and throughout the event.
7. As the team manager or scorekeeper, please verify your score every 1/2 inning with the umpires. This will minimize arguments at the end of the game over final scores.

June 25th Email #1:

2. Texas Ranger tickets have been sent to the person who made the order. If you have issues with your tickets, your contact with the Texas Rangers will be Grouptickets@texasrangers.com

3. Baseballs are provided for the event. If the baseballs sent out for the game dont get returned when fouled off, the team has to replace them. Teams are responsible for providing baseballs after the initial baseballs are lost, fouled off or not returned.
4. Pitching - we follow national pitching rules. Please see the pitching cheat sheet on this page for helpful information. Please note that any verbal answers at the park on pitching rules will not be considered official in terms of limitations. 5. Pitching/Game Cards - These must be signed after every game. A card that is signed is official. If you dont take the time to sign the card and the umpires leave the field with the card, it is official. Please check scores, pitching and winning/losing team prior to signing the card. No nick names on the pitching card. It must have first and last name as listed on your online roster.
6. Rosters and Forfeits - All players have to be listed on your online roster to be legal. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ROSTER TODAY!!!!! If a player shows up that is not on your roster and is not legal to be added to your roster, they will not play in the event. Every year people bring players to team check in and say they could not get them added prior to the event. Most of the time they are illegal and they make the trip for nothing. Please get all players added to your online roster asap. It is the manager's responsibility to ensure they are legal players.
7. There are NO WRITE IN PLAYERS IN THIS EVENT.
8. If a protest happens on a player's age, you must have a birth certificate or government issued ID. Hospital certificates will not be accepted for a protest.

Ranger tickets purchased through the event will be emailed out to the team point of contact starting on Tuesday June 24th. The Rangers will send you an email and they will be accessed through the ticket app used by the Rangers. All information will come to you electronically on the email provided when you purchased the tickets.

Pin Trading - The traditional time for pin trading is at Team Skills Competition on Thursday.

The schedule for team skills competitions has been released. You can find the schedule at the following link: Team Skill Schedules

June 17 Email :
A few reminders as we get closer to the DFW World Series.
Team skills are free to participate in. Awards are given out by age group (all 9 u teams compete against each other). Around the Horn and Team Base Running competitions will be scheduled for June 26 starting at 9am. Teams will be assigned a spot to participate. We can not take time requests for this event. Locations for team skills are as follows: Little Elm for 8u and 11AA. All other ages and classes will be held in Red Oak
Individual Skills Competition (Golden Arm, Home Run Derby and Fastest Man) will take place on Saturday June 28th. These will take place in the afternoon. Players can come and go to do these at any time. There will be an email sent out with the locations for individual skills next week. Players must pre register for individual skills competitions. Players should sign up based on their actual age. Grade exception players can sign up for the age group they are participating in. Once a player signs up in an age group, it will not be changed. Roster Changes - Please have all roster changes made by 9pm June 25th. That is when rosters will be printed for the event. Please make sure you add all players to your roster. There are no write-in players at this event. All players must be permanently listed as a roster player or added using the online guest player system. If you have a player that will not be attending this event, please remove them from your roster. Gate fees are paid per player on your roster. Please clean your roster up prior to the event. If you review your roster and someone has incorrect information, please email it to Jennifer.Seneca@usssa.org and have Jennifer make those corrections in advance for you.
